Portland Therapy Center
Portland Therapy Center is a local, Portland grown community of mental health professionals. This neighborhood focused collective matches therapy-seekers throughout the Portland metro area with the perfect therapist for their needs.
Therapists span a wide range of demographics, including from the very tech-savvy to more analog. We focused on creating a simple user interface for therapists so that no matter how comfortable they were with technology, they could fill out a very robust profile listing.
Prior to site launch, the site was receiving on average 3,000 site visits a day. 4 months after site launch, they had grown to over 5,600 per month.
Therapist profile views also maintained a steady increase, rising from 2,700 per month to 5,000 over a 4 month period.
I was responsible for:
- UX planning / UI prototyping
- Technical requirements and scope
- Go-to-market strategy
- Microcopy writing
- QA testing
- Project management
- Client CMS training
- Ongoing website maintenance
The project manager matched my enthusiasm for the project which always made me feel understood and taken care of. Every question I had along the way was answered promptly and with a lot of thought. Communication throughout the project was top-notch. I couldn't have asked for a better team to help create my website.
